“Related to the Bali Governor’s Circular Letter No. 04 of 2023, on the Order of Foreign Tourists While in Bali, here are the Do’s and Don’ts while foreign tourists staying in Bali and especially in Denpasar City”
We welcome all foreign tourist to Bali and remind you to “DO”:
- Respect local religion and their sacred places
- Respect Balinese wisdoms including traditional ceremonies
- Respect Balinese wisdoms including traditional ceremonies
- Behave especially in sacred places
- Travel with licensed tour guide if needed
- Travel with licensed tour guide if needed
- Exchange in legal money changer
- Transaction with Indonesian QR Standard
- Cash transaction with Indonesian Rupiah
- Obey the traffic law
- Rent vehicles from legal company
- Stay in legal accommodation
- Obey any rules in tourist spot
We welcome all foreign tourist to Bali and remind you to “DONT”:
- Enter main area of scared places unless for praying by wearing Balinese traditional clothes and not having period
- Climb sacred tress
- Take pictures with unproper clothes around sacred places
- Do littering
- Use non-recyclable plastic
- Misbehave in public area
- Work or do business illegally
- Do illegal trading
